Why mindfulness works for Veterans
.Reduces stress and improves resilience
.Support PTSD recovery by altering brain regions involved in emotional regulation, potentially reversing some trauma related changes.
.Improves focus and self awareness
.Encourages present awareness, this can break the cycle of rehashing traumatic events.
